Friends of Baseball Coaches Clinic

Less than 10% of all volunteer coaches receive any formal training (according to our partner Positive Coaching Alliance). Each year in late winter (typically February), Friends of Baseball hosts a subsidized clinic for volunteer youth baseball and softball coaches. North Portland Little League coaches are encouraged to attend. Registration fees with be covered by the league.

12th Annual Volunteer Coaches Clinic
March 10, 2019
12:30 – 5:30 pm

Clinic will include:
  • Q & A with Seattle Mariners personality
  • Coach Mark Zender of Mariners Grand Slam Camps
  • 5-time state champion coach, Dave Gasser
  • College World Series winner, Kevin Gunderson
  • Positive Coaching Alliance Training & Certification
  • and softball-specific breakout with expert trainers
  • AND every coach leaves with a 1 year certification from the date of the clinic backed by our partner Positive Coaching Alliance
